Sign Up As An Emergency Evacuation Volunteer

The Willow Dog Mushers Association would like to gather the  contact information of people who are willing and capable of assisting in the evacuation of kennels, etc in the case of emergency .

We looking for  people who are familiar with or have access to:

DOG TRUCKS or TRAILERS

DOG YARDS with free spots

DOG HOUSES

DOG FOOD

ABILITY/EXPERIENCE IN HANDLING SLED DOGS or other animals

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

We are looking to create a database that includes volunteers who are experienced with basically everything needed for proper Dog Care in emergency situations.  Most kennels have detailed evacuation plans but in extreme emergencies a data base would help in directing people where they may be needed quickly.

3.  Where you are located (preferably closest mile marker along the Parks Highway) 

4.  Any other pertinent information.

We will share your contact with Mushers requesting assistance,  CERT or Fire officials if necessary in the case of a possible evacuation.  All efforts will be made to contact you to confirm your availability prior to releasing information outside of WDMA.  Thank you for your support!
